If you haven’t already noticed that flowers are having quite the moment, then I think its time you, “wake up and smell the roses!”  Say goodbye to tightly wrapped up bouquets and hello to these wild beauties.

Traditionally, the bride carried a bouquet for two reasons: to help mask the smell of odor and to ward off evil spirits.  The rose has historically been the flower of choice for its fragrance and symbol of love.  Today, however, love has taken on a whole new meaning and so has a bride’s bouquet.

The trick to capturing this wild look while still keeping it wedding chic, is all about creating a balance and incorporating what’s in season.  Take for instance this gorgeous bouquet below.  An all white arrangement with touches of green showcases roses and ranunculas that are completely surrounded with Jasmine, Ivy Berry, and Lilac.  Stems of queen anne’s lace are budding through while hyacinth dramatically hangs over.  A truly wild bouquet that still exudes romance and sophistication.

For the more daring bride, take a peak at this bouquet.  A blend of snap dragon, poppy pods, and protea makes for a wild and exotic arrangement.  Highlighting the brides wedding colors, this bouquet is a fashion statement in and of itself.
